Doan Tung 2 Industrial Cluster: Infrastructure Nearing Completion, Ready for a New Wave of Investment
Construction at Doan Tung 2 Industrial Cluster in Thanh Mien District, Hai Duong Province is progressing impressively, with over 90% of technical infrastructure completed. The power, water, internal road, and wastewater treatment systems are about to come online, signaling readiness to attract FDI capital and domestic enterprises in the final quarter of 2025.
In Doan Tung Commune, Thanh Mien District — a vibrant point on Hai Duong Province's industrial map — Doan Tung 2 Industrial Cluster is showing an impressively accelerated construction pace. According to the project investor's report, as of the end of May 2025, more than 90% of technical infrastructure works have been completed and are ready for handover and the launch of production and business activities.
Major works including site leveling, electricity and water supply systems, internal roads, and a centralized wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of approximately 1,000 m³/day have been completed or are in the trial-operation phase. These are decisive preparations that will enable the cluster to welcome a new wave of investment as early as Q4 2025 — nearly two months ahead of schedule.

Spanning approximately 46.8 ha, Doan Tung 2 Industrial Cluster is oriented toward light manufacturing, supporting industries, and the processing of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, while restricting projects that cause severe environmental pollution.
The cluster's advantages extend well beyond its near-complete infrastructure. Its prime location — close to major transport routes such as national highways and the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway, and connected to major seaports including Hai Phong as well as nearby airports — creates favorable conditions for enterprises engaged in import-export and logistics.
A representative of Hoa Quan Land LLC, the project's developer, stated: "The overall technical infrastructure is being completed at a rapid pace, and we are focused on providing legal support and investment facilitation so that enterprises can begin production as soon as they receive their land." This is viewed as a positive signal that the project is on the right track amid increasingly intense competition for industrial investment.
With construction approaching the finish line, Doan Tung 2 Industrial Cluster is not only ready to welcome strategic investors but is also expected to emerge as a new bright spot on the industrial map of Hai Duong Province and the Red River Delta in the closing months of this year.
